Band Students: Candy bars can only be sold before school and after school.

PHS Student Ambassadors of Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, Ian Allred, Noah Bandy, Braden Lindner, Ty McDonnough, Lacey Moore and Adrian Rutter are collecting donations on behalf of Friends of Pocahontas Animal Control (FOPAC). Please help by bringing in donations of dog food, cat food, litter, collars, blankets, treats etc. for our four legged friends. FOPAC helps animals that are abandoned. They find rescue, foster parents, adoptive parents and vet the animals. Collection boxes are located in front of each Pocahontas School Office. Thank you in advance for your support. 🐕🐶🐱🐈

Wednesday:

Swim Team: Swim practice at the aquatic center from about 4:00 until around 5:15.

Mrs. Massey is not tutoring today.

Mrs. Kercheval will not be here Wednesday due to a chess tournament. There will be no GT on Wednesday.

PJHS and PHS chess teams will compete at the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative. Students will leave school at 8:00 and return at the end of the school day.

FFA members wanting to apply for State Proficiency Awards need to complete there application no later than January 14th.

Upcoming Events:

Jan. 18th - Pocahontas Public Schools will not be in session on Monday, January 18, 2016. Schools will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Pocahontas Public Schools will resume the regular schedule on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 for all students.
