From Mr. Massey:  I've been told of a few students that used to be band members, who now wish to come back to the program.  If this applies to you, please feel free to contact me if you'd like to visit about it.  Thanks, and have a great end of the semester.

Sr. Girls Basketball team is selling State Championship items (shirts, license plates, caps, car decals) until April 19th.  Order forms are available in the office. 

Driver's Education Class Sign ups -  Students must have a Driver's Permit in order to take the class.  Only 3 seats available.  First come/first serve.  Must have $200.00 check (check can be dated May 25th) to place name on list and Driver's Permit.  Sign up in PJHS Office.  Classes will be May 25th, 26th, 30th, 31st and June 1st.  (8:00 - 5:00 p.m. )   

Tuesday, April 11th

Girls of Promise will have a meeting today at 11:30 to discuss permission forms, what to bring, and  & >span class="m_-7439810728292985025m_6264892849686975712gmail-aBn">Friday's agendas. Please meet in Mrs. Phelps' room. 

No GT today, Mrs. Kercheval is not here. 

7th Grade Discovery Park Field Trip Money and Permission Slip is due on Tuesday, April 11th.

FFA officer meeting Tuesday at 12:10 to discuss upcoming events.

The following students will be doing FBLA on-line objective tests Tuesday, April 11 at 12:30 in Mrs. Broyles room.

First SEGP Meetings with Advisors/Students at 2:00 p.m. 

State CDE's are April 12th-14th please wish all the teams good luck this week as they will be traveling to Fayetteville Arkansas to compete

Thursday, April 13th

FFA Banquet will be May 11th and the cost will be one dollar to come to banquet and must be paid by April 14th so we can get a head count of who will be attending the Pocahontas FFA Banquet.  

New NJHS members, meet in the library at 12:15 on Thursday to discuss the induction ceremony.

May 11th:  LINK/FBLA End of Year Field Trip to Silver Dollar City will be on May 23, 2017.  Cost is $49.75 which includes admission ticket, lunch at Silver Dollar City.  Each student will need to carry extra money for breakfast and supper. Tickets will be ordered and delivered to the school.  Buses will leave at 6:30 a.m. in the morning.  Be at school by 6:00 a.m.  We will be back at school around 10:30 p.m.  Parents need to be here waiting.  This trip is for PHS & PJHS Active LINK members & FBLA.  

May 15th - Junior High Band Concert & Awards @ 6:30 p.m. (MD Williams gym).

May 15th:  Track & Field Day.  Alternate date is May 22nd.  SpEd. Teachers will receive more information at a later date. 

2nd Semester Testing Schedule:  

May 17th - English/others testing
May 18th - Math Testing
May 19th - Science/SocialStudies Testing

May 23rd - LINK's end of the year trip to Silver Dollar City.

May 24th - PJHS Awards Assembly. 

May 24th - Last Day of School.
