REMINDER: Students, earbuds fall under the Cellphones/Electronic Device policy. Make sure they are not out between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:20 pm unless a teacher allows it for an academic purpose.
The Library will be closed during lunch today.
Yearbooks are on sale! The cost is $30.00 and may be purchased in the Jr. High Library. Yearbooks may also be purchased online at jostensyearbooks.com
As a fundraiser, Family Career and Community Leaders of America will be selling Val-O-Grams for $10 a piece. Each Val-O-Gram will contain one Crush soda, and a 9x6 bag of gourmet popcorn with your choice of flavor. They will also include a personalized message and be wrapped. You can purchase a Val-O-Gram for their crush, friend, or significant other. Only order one Val-O-Gram per form. For more forms contact an FCCLA member, your school office, or see Mrs. Bradley or Mrs. Lynch. All Val-O-Grams will be delivered on Valentines day. All orders must be received by February 7th. Any orders sent after the 7th will be marked Return to Sender. Help support the PHS FCCLA in their efforts to raise money for their organization by purchasing a Val-O-Gram!

TODAY - LINK/SWAG will have an important meeting in the Jr. High gym at 12:10. Please come or go by and see Mrs. Cox on Friday if you cannot make the meeting. We have another opportunity to teach on Feb. 26, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. We also need to sell a few more pizza kits to purchase more teaching materials.
ESports:
Esports Spring Season 2020 kicks off preseason on Feb. 4. If you would like to play League of Legends in a competitive atmosphere, come see us. Our League of Legends team has secured top 16 in the state playoffs for two consecutive seasons.
Redskin Esports is adding Rocket League to our list of game titles and will be holding team tryouts through Jan. 23. If you are an experienced Rocket League player, come show us what you got!If you have any questions, please email adam.hand@pocahontaspsd.com

Don't forget to sign up for the Book Club on Mrs. Murray's new book. Sign ups are on the window outside of the library.
Redskin PALSS:
Redskins PALSS will meet on Mondays during lunch in the library.

Quiz Bowl:
Junior High Regional Quiz Bowl at Westside High School on January 18
FFA:
There will be a Farm Sale meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at Lunch until Farm Sale week Starting February 10th-15th, 2020.There will be an FFA Meeting and Chill Cook-Off January 30th starting at 5pm.
Track & Field:
There will be a meeting in the jr. high gym today at 12:10 for anyone interested in participating in Track and Field
Baseball:
7th and 8th graders signed up to play baseball need to get their baseball dues to Coach Eddington by 2/15.
Swim:
