Lunch: Oven Fried Chicken, Steamed broccoli, Mashed Potatoes/gravy, Hot Roll, Fruit and Milk.

General:

The band room is closed to students during lunch, unless a student has a note signed by a band director with permission to be there.

Mrs. Massey will not be tutoring this week

Thursday:Fire Drill - 1st Hour

Mrs. McCallister will not have tutoring today

Any student in grade 8 - 11 who is interested in being on the golf team next year, please meet with Coach Hausman at 12:15 p.m. This meeting will take place in Coach Hausman's room in the Junior High - 8th grade hall.
Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct parent/teacher conferences for students, in grades K-6 only, on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Parents are encouraged to meet with their child's teacher(s) between the hours of 3:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. Because of the conferences, school will be dismissed early for all students on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Alma Spikes Elementary walkers will be dismissed at 1:55 p.m. and bus students at 2:10 p.m. All other students in grades 3-12 will be dismissed at 2:25 p.m. Lunches will be served.

March 17 - 24 - PHS Band Orlando Trip (Students will depart at 6:00 p.m. )

Pocahontas Redskins Baseball vs. Valley View (V) Home @ 4:30

Sr. High Track @ 3:30 p.m.

Friday:

ALL Redskin Cheerleaders need to have uniforms turned in by Friday March 18th. You must take your uniforms to Mrs. Nead personally and sign paperwork that they are turned in. DO NOT leave them in the office.

NJHS dues for invitees must be received by Mrs. Blanchard or Mrs. Murray by March 18.

The Randolph Country Spring Livestock Show Contest will be March 19th at 5:00 PM at the Randolph Country Fairgrounds.

Saturday:

March 21st - 25th: Spring Break - Pocahontas Public Schools will be closed for Spring Break Monday, March 21 2016 through Friday, March 25, 2016.

Pocahontas Public Schools will resume the regular schedule on Monday, March 28, 2016 for all students.

REDSKIN CHEERLEADING TRY-OUTS are April 29th. Practices begin April 14th. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE WITHOUT A PHYSICAL. Physicals will be given April 13th. See Mrs. Nead for a physical form.
