NJHS members, dues are $15 and are due September 16. You must pay your dues to remain on the membership roster and to vote for officers.

Sept. 5th - 11th - FFA - The Delta Fair

Student Council is collecting socks for the Louisiana Flood victims. Please bring NEW socks to the library to donate. For each pair of socks you donate you will have your name displayed in the hallway. At the end of the drive we will draw a winner for 2 gift cards to Fro Yo and Joe.

Socks will be collected until September 23.

FBLA membership $15. Any 9th grade student interested in joining needs to see Mrs. Broyles in the business building. Last day to join is September 23rd.

Thursday, Sept. 8th:

7th Grade Cheer meet in Jr. High Gym at 12:10 today.

Mrs. Cox is not here today.

Pep Rally - 4th hour - Office will dismiss by intercom around 11:20 a.m. Dismiss band students at 11:00 a.m. Cheerleaders are to report for attendance to 4th hour and then be dismissed.

Builder's Club meet in the library. If you are interested you may bring your lunch.

Junior High Football vs. Paragould (Home) @ 7:00 p.m.

Golf AT Home at Rolling Hills CC @ 3:20 … release players at 2:30


Tennis AT Home vs Harrisburg @ 4:00. Please release Volleyball Players at 3:10 for game at Walnut Ridge. The bus will leave immediately following school.

There will NOT be a LINK meeting today, so each student can vote during the student council election during lunch time. Pick up a handout on the red table next to Mrs. Cox office for LINK news.

Upcoming Events:

Sept. 13th - 3rd hour 9th grade GT class will go on a field trip to Stonebridge Assisted Living. They will leave the school at 9:45 and return around 11:15.

(The fourth hour 9th grade GT group will start a little late that day. I will call for them.)

Sept. 13th - FFA Meeting at 4 pm in the Agriculture Building.

Sept. 12th - FFA Fruit and Meat Sale Starts September 12th and ends September 30th, please see an FFA member if you want to buy Fruit or Meat.

Sept. 13th - FFA Officer Meeting at 12:05 during lunch.

The Northeast District Fair will Be September 19th-24th in Jonesboro Arkansas

Sept. 16th - Progress Reports go home and will be available on HAC.

Sept. 16th - F1 Rotation ends

Sept. 19th - F2 Rotation starts.

Last day for 8th and 9th grade students to join FBLA is September 23.

Oct. 10th - Picture Retake Day.
