GENERAL NEWS

Morning Traffic: For safety reasons cars are not to make U-turns on the west end of the campus by the Home Ec buildings coming back to the PHS campus.

Students must have a Drug Screening Consent form on file in the PHS office to participate in extra-curricular activities or to drive on campus. If you have not filled one out please stop by the office to pick one up.

Mr. Miller will be offering tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school or directly after school. Please make sure to let him know if you will be attending. Students can also stop by his room during 4th

hour, if needed.

Student Ambassador applications (11th & 12th grade only) are available online at www.randolphchamber.com as well as by the bulletin board by the office. Applications are due no later than Friday, September 30 to the office.

Circle of Friends applications can be picked up in the office. They need to be returned to Mrs. Courtney Throesch or the office please. Applications need to be turned in soon so we can get started !!!

FBLA - Any student who would like to join FBLA needs to pay $15 dues to Mrs. Blalock by Friday, September 16th.

Art Club enrollment is open through the month of September. If you are interested in joining Art Club, please join us for lunch on Thursdays in Ms. Galvan's room. Next meeting is this Thursday, September 15th.

S.W.A.T will meet every Wednesday in Mrs. Baty's room at lunch… Bring your lunch.

St. Bernard’s is currently accepting applications for the Patient Ambassador Program. Applications are being accepted through September 16th. This program allows students (ages 15-18) an opportunity to volunteer in a hospital setting where they will explore areas of healthcare and gain experience in helping others. It will be a year-round program allowing them to fulfill any of their needed community service hours or graduation requirements. Applications may be picked up in the nurse's office.

The Randolph County Health Department will be here on Wednesday, October 26th to administer the flu vaccine. Consent forms will be sent home with students in the upcoming weeks. Consents must be returned to the school nurse by Wednesday, October 19th.

ALL students who drive and park on our campus must have a current hang tag.

Fall athletic passes are accepted at the gate for fall sporting events. Students must show their pass at the gate for free entry, otherwise students are to pay the $2 entry fee.

Fall Picture Day...All students will have their picture made for the Yearbook. If purchasing photos, student must have payments and order form with them at the time of taking picture.

The History Club will meet in Ms. Galvan's classroom during lunch.

Football AT Osceola @ 7:00… Players are released at the end of 5th hour.

Please release the cheerleaders and mascot tomorrow at 2:25. They will be leaving to go to Osceola.

SENIOR baby pictures are DUE FRIDAY, SEPT 16. Please bring them to Mrs. Sullinger in Room 4.

SENIORS that are interested in learning more about a career in health care. Planning and preparation is now underway for both “ADay in the Life -Variety and “A Day in the Life of a Nurse”. These one day programs help aimed at helping High School Seniors make a decision about a medical career by providing information, interaction with professionals, tours, and hands-on activities. Applications for these programs can be picked up in the nurse's office. All Applications should be submitted to UAMS Northeast in Jonesboro by September 23. Space is limited so students may only apply to one of these. Selected participants will be notified by text or email of their acceptance.
