Congratulations Anna Baltz !!! State Champion in 4A girls singles. Shout out to Trevor Overbay and Ty McDonnough for 5th in State and Camilo Golac 7th in State. So proud of you all !!
Way to Go Marching Redskins !!! They received all Superior ratings at region and will compete in the inaugural state band championship.
GENERAL NEWS
Pocahontas Special Olympics T-Shirt Order forms are available at the bulletin board. Orders need to be turned into Mrs. Tabitha Phelps (PJHS) by October 19th.
Project Graduation is looking for a senior to design a t shirt for the upcoming Project Graduation Color Run. Returned qualified entries will earn $$ toward Project Graduation night. Forms may be picked up from Mrs. Kara Sullinger in the art room and returned no later than Thursday, October 20th.
FFA Members will need to pay for the Greenhand & 360 conferences by October 28th.
PHS Project Graduation 5k Color RunwithFun. Adults $25, 10 and under $10. Must register by Oct 31 at 5pm to guarantee a T-Shirt. Sponsored by Black River Health Club

Circle of Friends applications can be picked up in the office. They need to be returned to Mrs. Courtney Throesch or the office. Applications need to be turned in soon so we can get started.
The Randolph County Health Department will be here on Wednesday, October 26th to administer the flu vaccine. Consent forms will be sent home with students in the upcoming weeks. Consents must be returned to the school nurse by Wednesday, October 19th.

Anyone interested in Chess Club see Mrs. Miller on Wednesdays. Chess practice will be Wednesdays at noon in her room at junior high.
S.W.A.T. will meet every Wednesday in Mrs. Baty’s room at lunch… Bring your lunch.
DRAMA CLUB MEETING DURING LUNCH EVERY WEDNESDAY
Mr. Miller will be offering tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school or directly after school. Please make sure to let him know if you will be attending. Students can also stop by his room during 4th hour, if needed.
ALL students who drive and park on our campus must have a current hang tag.
Fall athletic passes are accepted at the gate for fall sporting events. Students must show their pass at the gate for free entry, otherwise students are to pay the $2.00 entry fee.

Seniors check the list, on the board across from the office, for the correct spelling of your name. This is the way your name will appear on your diploma. If your name is spelled incorrectly let the office know.
On October 26th seniors will have the opportunity to attend a College Fair at Williams Baptist College. We will be leaving PHS at 8:15 and returning to campus no later than 10:00. In order to attend you must pre- register at www.gotocollegefairs.com and also complete the consent to travel form that is attached to this email. Please return your consent to travel form to Mrs. Hogan by 3:30 pm October 17th. No late forms will be accepted.
