Little Caesar Pizza kits are being sold by LINK members. Deadline to order is Feb. 11, and the delivery to school will be Feb. 15.
Those who signed up to play junior high baseball must have half ($40.00) of their money turned into Coach Eddington by the end of January.
Get your Valentine's Day outfit ready for Project Cupid! Walk the runway in your best Valentine's Day costume! You may sign up in the library for a $3.00 entry fee. You may walk as an individual or as a pair! Let's have some fun and support Make-a-Wish!The Valentine's Day Sadie Hawkins Dance will be February 15 from 7:30-10:00. $5.00 admission and concessions available.
Project Graduation is having a fundraiser. Heather Fletcher, Emily Hausman and Karen Johnson will be selling Crush sodas for Valentine's Day. Tuesday, January 22nd through February 13th: Send a Crush soda to your Valentine for $1. Find out who sent the soda after Valentine's Day for $1.
Start collecting your spare change for Kiss the Pig! Participating teachers will have a container with their name on it in the hallway January 27-February 1. The teacher who has the most money in their container will kiss a pig on Valentine's Day. All proceeds will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
Yearbooks will be on sale the month of January. Yearbooks are $30.00 and may be purchased in the library. Checks should be made payable to Pocahontas Junior High.
Recently there have been a few students who are not checking in when coming to school late for whatever reason. Remember you need to sign your name and the time checked in.
Next week Mrs. Phelps will have special cram sessions after school for the chapter 5 test. Sessions will be Tue (1/29), Wed (1/30), and Thur (1/31) from 3:30-4:30. The chapter 5 test is Friday.
