Driver's Education Class Sign ups - Students must have a Driver's Permit in order to take the class. Only 6 seats available. First come/first serve. Must have $200.00 check (check can be dated May 25th) to place name on list and Driver's Permit. Sign up in PJHS Office. Classes will be May 25th, 26th, 30th, 31st and June 1st. (8:00 - 5:00 p.m. )

Early Dismissal 2:25 p.m.

Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct parent/teacher conferences for students, in grades K-6 only, on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Parents are encouraged to meet with their child's teacher(s) between the hours of 3:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m.

Because of the conferences, school will be dismissed early for all students on Thursday, march 16, 2017. Alma Spikes Elementary walkers will be dismissed at 1:55 p.m and bus students at 2:10 p.m. All other students in grades 3-12 will be dismissed at 2:25 p.m. Lunches will be served. Classes will resume on the regular schedule Friday, March 17, 2017.

The Pocahontas FFA Spring Livestock Show will take place March 18th at the Randolph County Fairgrounds starting a 11 AM.

9th Annual Jammin' In the Jungle Basketball Tournament - March 31st - April 1st. Sponsored by: Pocahontas Project Graduation 2017. Entry Fee: $110 Entry Deadline: March 20th
