Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct "Student Education and Graduation Program" (SEGP) conferences for students in grades 7 - 11 only on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 and Thursday, April 28, 2016. On April 26th, conference times will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on April 28th conference times will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Parents of students at Pocahontas Junior High School and Pocahontas High School are encouraged to meet with their child's advisor at the agreed upon scheduled time.
Because of the conferences, school will be dismissed early for all students, grades K-12, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Alma Spikes Elementary Walkers will be dismissed at 1:55 p.m. and bus students at 2:10 p.m. All other students in grades 3-12 will be dismissed at 2:25. Lunches will be served.
