Congratulations to both the PJHS Quiz Bowl team and the PJHS chess team for winning second place in their tournaments Saturday!

Tea is also provided to our students as a priviledge for your meals. There will be NO tea beginning Monday 11/6/17 for at least two weeks and possibly until Thanksgiving if the cafeteria behavior doesn't improve. Coach Davis

Junior High is collecting soda can pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House and Children's Hospital.  Our goal is to fill three jugs before Christmas Break.  As an incentive, if we meet our goal, we will be given an old fashioned movie day in the gym with concessions.  Please bring your can tabs to the library to support this great cause.

Parent Center is selling smencils starting November 1 thru December 19th

Students who would like to wear a hat to school this FRIDAY may come by the library BEFORE school to pay their ONE DOLLAR.  All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project

 Upcoming Events: 

Choir will be hosting a Coffee Shop Talent Revue full of music and entertainment on December 1st from 6-8pm. Tickets will be $5 and will go on sale November 6th during lunch. See any choir student or Mrs. Moffett to purchase a ticket.

 *If you would like to audition for a spot to perform during the Coffee Shop Talent Revue, sign up on the poster in front of Mrs. Moffett’s room. Auditions are open to any student at PJHS & PHS. There will be audition spots open for skits, poetry reading, and music acts. There are only 15 spots available to perform, so bring your best solo or group act and help raise money for the choir program!”


9th grade girls interested in attending the Coding Summit (hosted by Women's Foundation of Arkansas in Little Rock) need to attending a very important meeting in the library on Tuesday 11/7/17 at 12:10.  All ladies that participated in Stem Camp, Girls of Promise, or are STEMinists should attend this meeting.  All 9th grade girls are invited to join us for this informational meeting!  There are only 5 spots available per school.

Nov 12th-The "Belles of Christmas" pageant will be held at 2 p.m. It is "Sunday Best" and it is not too late to enter!! There are forms located in the office if you are interested. Please see Mrs. Bryant at for any questions!
