GENERAL NEWS
Red folders with forms completed and signed should have been returned by now. If you have not returned your folder yet, stop by the office to talk with Mrs. Dianna.
Students who are needing to purchase lockers or parking tags should come to the office between classes or during lunch.
Students needing schedule changes should go by Mrs. Hampton’s office to fill out a request. Mrs. Hampton will call students to her office once schedules have been reviewed and completed. STUDENTS WHO REQUEST SCHEDULE CHANGES SHOULD FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE GIVEN IN THEIR RED FOLDER UNTIL THEY ARE CALLED TO THE OFFICE OR COUNSELOR’S OFFICE IN THE MEANTIME!
*** Staff/Visitor/Substitute parking is the front row in front of the building and the area to the side by the cafeteria. These areas are marked with a V or a T. Students are not to park in these areas.
*** Senior parking is the first row front and back behind staff parking.
*** Junior parking is the area beside the business building.
*** Sophomore parking is the row between the softball and baseball fields.
FFA - Members wanting to order FFA jackets can do so starting August 20th. Please see Mr. Washburn for details.
There will be livestock judging practice at Lunch Monday and Wednesday and after school Tuesday and Friday starting at 3:30 and ending at 4:30.
FBLA - Join now! Cost is $20 due by August 31st. See Mrs. Blalock or Mrs. Hall.

- DARE Back to School Splash & Bash at the Pocahontas Aquatic Center…. FREE TO GET IN + FREE FOOD & DRINKS !!! Supported by the DARE program: Kindergarten-6th grade from 4- 6:00 p.m. & 7th- 12th grade from 6-8:00 p.m. Hope everyone comes out to enjoy and start off the year with a little fun !!!!
- Golf match @ Home at Rolling Hills Country Club is CANCELLED
- Students in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing softball should attend an informal meeting with Coach Ward in the Junior High Student Center @12:15
- Any 9th-12th grade boy interested in playing baseball needs to sign the sheet in the high school office or on Coach Eddington’s door, by Wednesday.
- Volleyball @ home against Cave City, starting at 4:30- 7th, Jr B/A, Sr B/A
- FFA Officers need to come by the Ag Building sometime today to see Mr. Washburn for final information about the Back to School Cookout.

- FFA Back to School Cook-Out from 5-7 p.m. at James Ranch…. Parent meeting will also be held at 5:30 p.m.
- There will be an FCCLA meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Lynch's room. You may bring your lunch tray to the meeting or bring your own lunch. Anyone who has had any FACS course (FACS, Child Dev/Parenting, Financial Literacy, Housing, Clothing, Human Relations, Food Safety and Nutrition) may be in FCCLA. You can be currently or previously enrolled.
