General:

Students coming in from outside buildings should wait OUTSIDE of front entrance until the bell for the next class rings. Students should not be going down halls until such time (with the exception of High School who leave a few minutes early)

We have a full Lost/Found box of binders and clothing. Please check if you are missing anything. Lost/Found will be cleaned out Friday.

LINK will be selling mums for Homecoming (Oct. 14). Posey Patch makes the mums, but you need to use a LINK order form so that we can get a small percentage of the profit. The mums cost is the same amount whether you order from them or LINK. The only way LINK gets a small percentage of the profit is if you use our order forms. Forms are located on the table outside Mrs. Cox's office.

See You at the Pole is a time of student led prayer for our nation, city, and school. Hope to see all who would like to participate next Wednesday, September 28th at 7 a.m. at the flag pole in front of MD Williams. Donuts served afterwards.

NJHS officer elections will be held September 30. Candidates may place at most 2 posters in the halls.

LINK will hold our 1st Happy Birthday Party this Friday in the student center during lunch. Any student that has a birthday in July, August, or September may pick their name napkin off the windows in front of the student center as your ticket to get cake, drink, and candy. LINK is glad you were born!
LINK will also have a regular meeting in Computer Lab C on Friday to discuss the Homecoming Dance, Signing up for teaching positions at M.D., Alma, St. Paul's. Please go by and pick up a handout at least.

All LINK students need to check the membership sheets that are attached to the bulletin board outside Mrs. Cox's office. If you have yellow marked, it may mean that you have not paid yet, or I do not have your drug screening paper back yet. If there is a mistake, please see Mrs. Cox directly to make the correction.

Student Council Members tshirt orders are due Friday.

Writer's Group

Student Council is collecting socks for the Louisiana Flood victims. Please bring NEW socks to the library to donate. For each pair of socks you donate you will have your name displayed in the hallway. At the end of the drive we will draw a winner for 2 gift cards to Fro Yo and Joe.

Socks will be collected until September 23.
