GENERAL NEWS

This week is College Application Week !!!Students need to come by Ms. Crutcher's office and either apply for college or show proof that they have applied for college and sign-up. Next Monday (10/3) there will be a drawing of participants for a $50 Wal-Mart gift card, a $25 iTunes gift card, and a BRTC sweatshirt.

Circle of Friends applications can be picked up in the office. They need to be returned to Mrs. Courtney Throesch or the office please. Applications need to be turned in soon so we can get started !!!

Art Club enrollment is open through the month of September. If you are interested in joining Art Club, please join us for lunch on Thursdays in Ms. Galvan's room.

S.W.A.T will meet every Wednesday in Mrs. Baty's room at lunch… Bring your lunch.

Last Week to Order Fruit and Meat from the Pocahontas FFA. The Fruit and Meat Sale will continue unit September 30th if you anyone interested in ordering fruit or meat please see and FFA Member or contact Mr. Washburn, Mr. Hogan or Mr. James. The fruit and meat will be delivered the week of December 5th.

Student Ambassador applications (11th & 12th grade only) are available online at www.randolphchamber.com as well as by the bulletin board by the office. Being a Student Ambassador prepares students for participation in community affairs as well as furthering the mission of the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce. All Senior Ambassadors are eligible for the $500 Randolph Co Chamber of Commerce Student Ambassador Scholarship. Applications are due no later than Friday, September 30th to the office.

ACT Prep Sessions will be offered during the 2016-17 school year for students interested in review sessions prior to National ACT Test. Each Prep Session will be from 3:30-4:30. Prep dates are 10/4, 10/5, 10/6, 10/11, 10/12, 10/13. Check your email and sign up for date and subject.

The last day LINK dues can be paid is at the meeting October 6th! Drop by the choir room at lunch that day and get the latest info.

The Randolph County Health Department will be here on Wednesday, October 26th to administer the flu vaccine. Consent forms will be sent home with students in the upcoming weeks. Consents must be returned to the school nurse by Wednesday, October 19th.

Mr. Miller will be offering tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school or directly after school. Please make sure to let him know if you will be attending. Students can also stop by his room during 4th hour, if needed.

ALL students who drive and park on our campus must have a current hang tag.

Fall athletic passes are accepted at the gate for fall sporting events. Students must show their pass at the gate for free entry, otherwise students are to pay the $2 entry fee.

Any FBLA member who wants to attend the Fall Leadership Conference, Wednesday October 12th at the ASU Convocation Center needs to sign up and pick up a permission slip no later than Tuesday, September 27th. If you are not signed up by then, you can not go!

See You at the Pole is a time of student led prayer for our nation, city, and school. Hope to see all who would like to participate Wednesday, September 28th at 7 a.m. at the flagpole in front of MD Williams. Donuts served afterwards.
