Students Council is doing a food drive for the local food bank November 2nd through November 16th. Please bring all non-perishable items to study hall or there will be a box in the concession area. All food donations appreciated. Lets fill up the food bank!!

Rolls Are On Sale! Place orders by November 11th at any school cafeteria. Hot Rolls - Wheat Rolls - Cinnamon Rolls . This is an annual fundraiser to help needy families in our school district.

YEARBOOKS ARE ON SALE! *October 29th will begin our fall sale: yearbooks will be $40.00, personalization $5.00 (monogram and crests will still be available online only), and icons $3.00 each.

First Day Feelings

PHS Project Graduation 5k Color RunwithFun Saturday, November 12th. Adults $25, 10 and under $10. Must register by Oct 31 at 5pm to guarantee a T-Shirt. Sponsored by Black River Health Club

*YEARBOOK is SELLING PIES to help purchase cameras. Chef's In has agreed to allowed us to sell their pies and give us all the proceeds. **We will be selling PECAN ($17), PEANUT BUTTER ($17), PUMPKIN ($15), CHOCOLATE CREAM ($15), and COCONUT CREAM ($15)

***We have delivery dates for you to choose: NOV. 19 & DEC. 22

****These pies will be delivered fresh, but can be frozen after delivery.

SEMESTER TEST SCHEDULE:

December 15th - 6th & 7th periods

December 16th - 3rd, 4th & 5th periods. Make up work or make up 6th & 7th period tests.

December 19th - 1st & 2nd periods. Make up work or make up 3rd, 4th, or 5th period tests.

December 20th - Any make up work or 1st and 2nd period tests.

Anyone interested in Chess Club see Mrs. Miller on Wednesdays. Chess practice will be Wednesdays at noon in her room at junior high.

S.W.A.T. will meet every Wednesday in Mrs. Baty’s room at lunch… Bring your lunch.

DRAMA CLUB MEETING DURING LUNCH EVERY WEDNESDAY

Mr. Miller will be offering tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school or directly after school. Please make sure to let him know if you will be attending. Students can also stop by his room during 4th hour, if needed.

Mrs. Henderson will be offering tutoring at 7:00 a.m. in her classroom on TUESDAYS. She will have a chrome cart available.

ALL students who drive and park on our campus must have a current hang tag.

The fall (green) athletic passes are no longer valid.

Winter athletic passes are accepted at the gate for winter sporting events. Winter sports (basketball, swim, cheer) athletic passes will be handed out the end of this week. Students must show their pass at the gate for free entry, otherwise students are to pay the $2.00 entry fee.

ONLY AAA ATHLETIC PASSES will be accepted at the gate tonight. Staff passes and student athletic passes are not valid for playoff games. Admission as set by AAA will be $6 for students and adults.

---National Wood Flooring Association Scholarship is designed to promote the post-secondary study of forestry and related forestry sciences. - $1000 - Applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2017.

---The Office of Pre-College Programs is now accepting applications for summer programs (June 24th - July 8th) at the University of Notre Dame for Summer 2017. Application deadline February 6, 2017.

---Arkansas Tech University Foundation Scholarships - All applications due February 15, 2017.
