FBLA: We have adopted a family for Christmas this year. Check your email for a list of sizes and items the children need. All who brings gifts will be invited to a Pizza Party during lunch before Christmas Break.

Seniors are needed for assistance at the Project Graduation Paint Party on December 10th, 6:00 session. Helpers will earn $10 incentive money and will help with brush cleaning, etc. Anyone interested can contact Becky Lindner, Kim Lewis, or Kara Sullinger.

Anyone interested in ringing the bell for Salvation Army go by and see Mrs. Baty this week.

Art Club will paint windows after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week. We will meet at Brothers Flooring from 3:45-5:00.

Spanish Club is taking donations for Angel Tree gifts through Friday, December 2nd.

FFA members wanting to help with the FFA Christmas parade float will need to see Mr. Hogan or Mr. Washburn to see what times we will be working on the float.

If any agriculture students do not have an FFA membership cards please see Mr. Washburn.

LINK is selling Little Caesars' Pizza Kits. The last day to order is Friday December 2, 2016. Each LINK member will have an order form. If you just love pizza and want your own order form to help LINK, pick one up in Mrs. Moffett's classroom. Money is due at the time of order. Delivery will be on Tuesday December 13, 2016. All kits will need to be picked up that afternoon of the 13th because the pizza kits are frozen and need to be in your freezer. Mrs. Cox will stay late that day to meet parents when they get off from work.

PHS LINK will have its monthly meeting in conjunction with our Christmas 🎄Party on Thursday, December 8. All active members are invited to attend. We will need a head count so we will know how much pizza to order! 🍕 (Let Mrs. Phelps or Mrs. Moffett know by Friday, December 2nd, if you plan to attend!)

Project Graduation Christmas Paint Party - Saturday, December 10th @ 2:00 or 6:00 at PHS Study Hall… Contact Becky Lindner at 870-378-6101 or becky.lindner@pocahontaspsd.com. Christmas Roll Sale - Hot Rolls, Wheat Rolls, Cinnamon Rolls - Last day to order December 14th. Place your order with any of the school cafeterias.

SEMESTER TEST SCHEDULE: No early testing without prior approval from Mrs. Grooms

December 15th - 6th & 7th periods

December 16th - 3rd, 4th & 5th periods. Make up work or make up 6th & 7th period tests.

December 19th - 1st & 2nd periods. Make up work or make up 3rd, 4th, or 5th period tests.

December 20th - Any make up work or 1st and 2nd period tests.

Anyone interested in Chess Club see Mrs. Miller on Wednesdays. Chess practice will be Wednesdays at noon in her room at junior high.

S.W.A.T. will meet every Wednesday in Mrs. Baty’s room at lunch… Bring your lunch.

KEY CLUB will meet every Wednesday in Mr. James’ room at lunch

DRAMA CLUB MEETING DURING LUNCH EVERY WEDNESDAY

Mr. Miller will be offering tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school or directly after school. Please make sure to let him know if you will be attending. Students can also stop by his room during 4th hour, if needed.

Mrs. Henderson will be offering tutoring at 7:00 a.m. in her classroom on TUESDAYS. She will have a chrome cart available.

ALL students who drive and park on our campus must have a current hang tag.

The fall (green) athletic passes are no longer valid.

Winter athletic passes (basketball, swim, cheer) are accepted at the gate for winter sporting events. Students must show their pass at the gate for free entry, otherwise students are to pay the $2.00 entry fee.

Mrs. Gholson’s 3rd Medical Terminology class should report to Study Hall.

The Pocahontas FFA Chapter will be taking students to the Greenhand and 360 Conference. Students will be leaving at the end of 4th hour.

RAFFLE TICKETS FOR MINI IPAD FOR PROJECT GRADUATION: See Mrs. Kim to pick up raffle tickets. If you sell 20 tickets you will receive $10 incentive money for the night of Project Graduation.

There is a new Senior List posted on the bulletin board across from the office. PLEASE CHECK it to be sure your name is spelled correctly. This is how it will be listed on your diploma.
