FFA Students: Need to sign up to bring side dishes or canned food item by Friday December 9th for the FFA Christmas party at the Agriculture Building from 5 PM- 7 PM.
LINK Christmas Party is on Friday, Dec. 16, during lunch in the student center. ONLY LINK members that pay the $5.00 will be allowed in the student center for the Christmas Party. You voted that the $5.00 will pay for pizza, drinks, candy, and serving supplies. We have never had anyone leave one of our Christmas parties hungry. I need your money before Wed. Dec. 14, so I can make sure we have enough food. If you need to study for your math test during our party, just bring your materials.
Student Council and LINK will be collecting can foods for the Food Bank beginning in December. If each child brought five cans of food, then we could have over 2000 cans of food. Please work together and try to help our community and school students. The most giving people are those that understand what it means to do without or remember how blessed they have been.

Pocahontas will host a swim meet on Monday, December 5th. The meet starts at 5:00 with Pocahontas warm-ups at 4:00. Therefore, the swimmers will get out at regular dismissal for school.

LINK Happy Birthday Party is in the student center on Friday, Dec. 9th. during lunch. Anyone with a birthday during the months of October, November, and December is welcome to come and get cake and a drink. LINK is glad you all were born!

Dec. 14th - FFA Members that have singed up for CDE's Teams will need to attend the CDE Meeting on December 14th at 12:10 to discuss the contests and practice times.

The fall (green) athletic passes are no longer valid.
Winter athletic passes are accepted at the gate for winter sporting events. Winter sports (basketball, swim, cheer) athletic passes will be handed out the end of this week. Students must show their pass at the gate for free entry, otherwise students are to pay the $2.00 entry fee.
