Odyssey of the Mind teams from Pocahontas Schools competed in the state-qualifying tournament on Saturday, February 25. Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving competition in which students in three age categories choose from among five long-term problems and create a solution. As a team, they also solve a spontaneous problem during the event. Pocahontas has three teams this year, one from MD Williams Intermediate School, one from Pocahontas Junior High, and one from Pocahontas High School. All three of those teams will advance to state competition at Hendrix College on April 1.
