The Pocahontas School District proudly announces that Ms. Victoria Pratt, Director of Child Nutrition, has been appointed to the Board of the Arkansas School Nutrition Association (ASNA) as the Membership Chair.
The Arkansas School Nutrition Association is a professional organization that supports school nutrition staff across the state through training, advocacy, and resources to ensure students receive healthy meals that fuel learning. ASNA operates as part of the National School Nutrition Association (SNA), a nationwide network dedicated to advancing child nutrition programs.
Committee chairs within ASNA are nominated by their professional peers, including food service directors and other leaders in the school nutrition industry — a testament to Ms. Pratt’s respected leadership and commitment to excellence in child nutrition.
As Membership Chair, Ms. Pratt will focus on growing and strengthening the association’s membership, encouraging new members to join, maintaining strong connections with current members, and promoting the value of professional development within school nutrition.
“My goal is to help every child nutrition professional in Arkansas feel supported, informed, and connected,” said Pratt. “When we invest in the people who feed our students, we strengthen the foundation for their success.”
Superintendent Dr. Lance Arbuckle added, “Ms. Pratt’s passion for serving our students and her dedication to improving child nutrition make her an outstanding choice for this leadership position. We’re proud to see her representing Pocahontas on the state level.”
