Pocahontas School District is excited to announce a new opportunity for eligible high school students beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.
The Flexible Learning Pathway is designed to provide qualifying juniors and seniors with an additional option to complete coursework through a flexible online learning environment while remaining enrolled at Pocahontas High School. This opportunity is intended for students who have demonstrated academic success, personal responsibility, and the ability to thrive as independent learners.
This program is not intended to replace the traditional classroom experience. Instead, it offers another pathway to meet the unique needs and goals of some of our students while maintaining the high academic expectations of Pocahontas High School. Students accepted into the program must continue to meet academic, attendance, communication, and graduation requirements to remain eligible.
As with any new initiative, this is where our journey begins. We look forward to evaluating the program, learning from the experience, and exploring future opportunities as we continue to meet the evolving needs of our students.
