Pocahontas School District

In conjunction with local emergency responder units, Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct an Emergency Response Drill on Thursday, August 11, 2016. The drill is a component of the district’s emergency planning process. Its goal is to further coordinate the response efforts of district staff and local responders in the event of an emergency. The purpose of this press release is to alert the public that the activity on campus will be a drill and not an actual emergency.
