Last week’s Christmas celebration was full of smiles, games, and holiday magic! Our students had the best time together, and it was a beautiful reminder of what makes Pocahontas Schools so special — everyone belongs here. A big shout-out to our National Honor Society students for helping make the day unforgettable. Their kindness, encouragement, and willingness to jump in created such a welcoming atmosphere for all. We’re proud of the inclusive spirit that shines across our district every single day. ❤️✨

Students at M.D. Williams enjoyed some festive Reindeer Games, filled with laughter, teamwork, and holiday fun. It was a great way to celebrate the season and create special memories together at school.🎄✨

Our Pocahontas Junior High EAST program + high school students are broadcasting tonight’s home basketball game at 7:00 PM! Congratulations to our 4th Grade Quiz Bowl team for earning 3rd place out of 11 teams in this week's tournament! We’re proud of their hard work, quick thinking, and teamwork throughout the competition. Great job, kiddos — way to represent your school! ❤️✨

Some of our M.D. Williams Ambassadors spent time decorating boxes for the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts Winter Drive! Their creativity helped prepare our collection areas—and now we’re ready to begin gathering donations.

We’re collecting new winter hats, gloves, socks, and small blankets to help keep students warm this season. If you’d like to contribute, donations can be dropped off in the M.D. office or sent with your child.

At M.D. Williams, the cafeteria has become a lively spot for students thanks to daily riddles with small prizes and festive seasonal decorations. These simple additions bring a little extra fun to lunchtime and give students something to look forward to each day.
