Juniors & Seniors,
*If you have already sent me your application for one of these programs, you do not need to send another. Everyone who has already applied is good to go.*
If you are interested in CNA/Phlebotomy, Welding, Machine Tool, or Auto Collision, we still have a few spaces left in each BRTC Career & Technical Program. You must have your own transportation to attend the classes on BRTC's campus from 12:30-3:15 each day of the week. To apply for a program, you must:
1. be a junior or senior (Seniors get 1st priority if more applicants than spaces availabe.)
2. have a good attendance record
3. have at least a 2.5GPA (I will write a BRTC recommendation letter for you to be in the program if so.)
4. have taken one of the following tests: (No minimum scores required...you just have to take one of these tests in English/Writing, Math, & Reading.)
- 10th Grade ACT Aspire
- ACT
- Accuplacer (You can take this at BRTC Monday-Thursdays at 9:00am or 1:15pm by calling 248-4156 for an appointment.)
4. email a completed, signed BRTC application to me (stephanie.hampton@pocahontaspsd.com)
5. email a completed, signed FERPA form to me
These are how many spots we have available in each program. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. You should be able to complete and sign these forms on your computer and email them back to me. (See previous BRTC emails from me for specific instructions.) Please check your inbox for the email I sent on 7/28 for the forms needed to apply . Make sure you save them as a PDF file before and after you complete them.
