January Character Trait: Resilience
WEEK ONE: What is resilience?
Resilience is a tough word. It doesn’t mean that everyone can pop back up at the same rate, or that everyone experiences the same types of setbacks, or has the same experience getting back up. It’s kind of like one of those punching clowns: everyone gets knocked down— just
not at the same level, with the same resources for help, or the same past experiences in getting up from challenges. How do we pop back up anyway?
Thank you to everyone who came out Friday to make our 2024 College and Career Day a huge success at PJHS!
PJHS Career Day is Friday, December 13th!
Please join us for our Semester 1 Awards Assembly, January 17, 2025 at 10 a.m.. Please see attached image for more details.

December Character Trait: Service
WEEK ONE: What is service?
Service and generosity are closely related. Both require us to see others in a way that allows for their needs to be visible, and both require action from us. This week, we will look at service as an action that you do to help someone do something that they couldn’t do without your help.
Picture retake day at PJHS is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th. Please make checks payable to Smith's School Portraits. Envelopes are available for pickup in the PJHS library and can be collected anytime between now and Thursday.
