Yesterday in Ms. Muller’s class, students read The Gingerbread Man and even baked their very own gingerbread friend. We sent him to the cafeteria to be baked, but moments later the lunch ladies came rushing back saying he had run away shouting, “You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!” The class is officially on the hunt, and we’ll be sharing updates as the adventure unfolds. Stay tuned — you never know where he’ll turn up next!🍪🔎

When Property Values Rise, State Support Falls - Here's Why
Rising assessments change who pays - not how much schools receive. As the local tax base grows, the state adjusts its contribution, meaning the overall funding level stays nearly unchanged.

mill compare
Did you know? 📊 Pocahontas School District currently has one of the lowest millage rates among surrounding districts. Even with the proposed millage increase, our rate would remain competitive with neighboring schools while allowing us to build safer, more modern learning environments for our students. An investment in education is an investment in our community’s future.
