The Pocahontas School Board Community meeting will be held Monday, August 31 beginning at 5:30pm at the Pocahontas Community Center. The School Board will be answering questions concerning the New High School Project and drawings of the high school will be available for viewing.

If you did not pick up a Chromebook during one of our drive-thru pickup days, students may pick them up on the first day of school. Technology Staff will be located at MDW, PJHS, & PHS at 8am (Alma at 10am), on the first day of school to hand out Chromebooks to any student that has yet to receive one. A signed online form or a signed paper form must be present in order to receive your device. PHS Orientation is Thursday, August 13th from 1-7 pm. It is a drive thru event. Please sign the Chromebook agreement online prior to the event.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding athletic events this year, the Pocahontas School District will not be selling season passes this year. In light of possible limited seating capacity, schedule changes and possible season cancellations, we feel it would be unfair to sell season passes at this time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The PHS Orientation scheduled for August 18 will have to be rescheduled. Details will be sent as soon as possible.
Any student grades 9-12 who is wanting to play tennis needs to pick up paperwork and turn in physicals tonight (Monday, August 3) in front of the Jr. High building. Practice will start Tuesday, August 4 at 5 p.m. for those with physicals and have turned in their paperwork.
