We value their dedication to guiding our district forward and making choices that support the future of Pocahontas Schools.
Along the way, they also practiced important food safety procedures, gaining firsthand experience in how professional kitchens differ from home cooking environments.
We’re proud of the way our students are connecting classroom learning with real-world skills! 🌟

We are so proud of these students for representing Pocahontas Schools with leadership and service!

This week, Pocahontas School District students and staff successfully completed bus evacuation drills with the support of Black River Technical College. We’re proud of our students, staff, and transportation team for their teamwork and focus on safety. A special thank-you also goes to our local safety agencies for assisting with these important drills and for their continued partnership in keeping our students safe.
As part of our planning, we want to remind families that if an emergency ever required us to relocate students, our official Parent/Student Reunification Site is:
Black River Technical College Randolph County Development Center Lobby – 1410 Hwy 304 East
Parents and guardians would be directed to this site for a safe and orderly student pick-up. Thank you to everyone who helps us make safety a top priority at PSD!

Grateful for the support of our local law enforcement and emergency teams. Thanks for keeping our students’ safety first!
