Caps and gowns were delivered today by Jostens. If you did not pick yours up, it is in Mrs. Stewart's office.
If you have students planning to take the following AP classes in the Fall, please make sure they have completed a Concurrent Credit Application if they want to receive college credit. We have SEVERAL students who have requested these classes in HAC, but have not completed paperwork. They may pick an application from Mrs. Stewart or Mrs. Swann's office.
AP Concurrent Classes for Fall are:
AP Lang with Mrs. Baltz
AP Lit with Mrs. Baltz
AP US History with Mr. Kazzee
Students cannot get credit for AP World, Algebra III, Pre-Cal, or AP Cal until Spring semester. Those forms will be available in November.
Applications are also available for the Career and Technical Program in the fall and BRTC summer classes. Please have all paperwork turned in by this Friday, April 28th!
Abigail Fears, Olivia Fears, and Josephine Niswonger recently competed at FBLA State. They won second place in Graphic Design and will be going to Nationals during the summer.
Seniors
If you are doing the senior walk you will need to do the following:
* Be at the courthouse at 6:30
* Find Mrs. Baty-she will be by the doors of the courthouse
* She will give you your information card you filled out.
* You will then get with the group or date or by yourself in line inside the court house- you do not have to walk with the people you said you would earlier. Just get with who you want to walk with.
* When it is your groups turn-you will walk out and hand the whole groups cards to the speaker
* Groups will walk to the middle of the stage area and as they call your name you will step forward while they introduce you and read your card then step back-if you are with your date or alone then you will just walk out to the middle. As they finish you will walk off the stage and sit in the chairs set up for you.

Just a reminder: Highschool SEGP meetings are tonight and Thursday 4:00-6:00. If you have not set up a time...it is not too late.
SEGP is important because it helps the students set up their schedules for the following school year. Makes sure they are on track for graduation.

A huge congratulations to the PHS Odyssey of the Mind team for taking first place at state competition! They will now advance to World Finals in Lansing, Michigan in May.

Congratulations to the PHS Quiz Bowl team! Third place at AGQBA 4A regional and headed to state! Also congrats to all-tournament player Aiden Camp!
The high school chapter of National Honor Society will be hosting their annual induction ceremony on Tuesday, March 7th at 9:15 a.m. in the high school cafeteria. Families of members are cordially invited to attend. All members should dress nicely for the ceremony because we will be taking group photos for the yearbook!
Abigail and Olivia Fears went to page with the Arkansas Academy for Public Service group at the capitol in Little Rock. They were given a tour of the capitol , got their picture taken with the Governor, had lunch, and then proceeded to the House of Representative chamber to page. There were ten pages total and each page took turns serving a Representative. They passed notes from reps and delivered them to the speaker or another rep. Trey Steimel is our local representative, they also got a picture with him. The girls loved the experience and would recommend it for everyone.
