Today, we proudly recognize and celebrate the incredible bus drivers of the Pocahontas School District!
Each day, our drivers are among the first to greet our students and the last to send them home safely. They do so much more than drive a route—they build relationships, offer a smile, provide encouragement, and ensure that every student’s day starts and ends with care.
Rain or shine, early mornings and long afternoons, their dedication never goes unnoticed. We are grateful for the patience, commitment, and heart they bring to our district every single day.
Please join us in thanking our amazing bus drivers for the vital role they play in keeping our students safe and supported.

Final Senior Advisory Council meeting ✔️🎓
We wrapped up our last meeting with a group that’s shown up, spoken up, and truly made an impact this year. Their ideas, feedback, and leadership have helped move things forward in a real way—and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Proud of this group for the way they’ve represented their peers and left their mark. Big things ahead for every one of them.

We are proud of our students who participated in Solo & Ensemble recently at Highland High School. Their hard work, preparation, and dedication to their craft were evident in their performances.
Congratulations to all students who earned Superior and Excellent ratings—your commitment to excellence and growth in music is something to be celebrated.
Thank you for representing Pocahontas with pride!

Abilene Caffrey competed at the Capital City Swim Meet in Jacksonville this past Saturday and made quite the splash! She teamed up with three swimmers in the 100 free relay to bring home a 1st place finish. Individually, she earned 1st in the 25 back and 2nd in the 25 free—what an accomplishment!
These athletes are now gearing up for the Special Olympics State Games in May in Searcy, and we couldn’t be more proud.
