Student voice matters at Pocahontas School District. Mr. Green recently led our Senior Advisory Council in meaningful conversation about leadership, school culture, and the experiences that shape the Class of 2026. These students continue to represent their peers well — sharing honest feedback, thoughtful ideas, and a genuine commitment to making PHS even better.
We are grateful for leaders who listen and seniors who lead.

We are aware of rumors circulating among high school students today regarding a possible threat to the school.
School administrators immediately investigated the situation and have determined there is no credible threat and no safety concerns at this time. Student and staff safety remains our highest priority, and we take every report seriously.
We will continue to monitor the situation and appreciate our students and families for helping prevent the spread of misinformation. We encourage families to speak with their students about the importance of reporting concerns directly to school staff rather than sharing rumors.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership in keeping our school community safe.
Our 2026 Pocahontas Football team has launched their TeamFunded campaign with a goal to purchase new helmets and workout gear.
Players will be sharing donation links with family and friends. If you receive a message, we appreciate your consideration and support.
Thank you for supporting Pocahontas Football. 🏈
