The Senior Awards Ceremony will be Monday, May 12th at 6:30 pm in the Pocahontas Elementary School gymnasium. On this night we will only be awarding scholarships, as well as acknowledging honor graduates and ACT achievement. Seniors will receive an invitation to attend if they are being recognized.
Other honors such as Completer Cords and leadership awards will be given during the Academic Assembly on May 8th during school.
Our FBLA members recently attended the 2025 State Leadership Conference in Little Rock!
Congratulations to Ashley Baltz, Blair Baxley, Dar Burger, Logan Cernosek, Carli Chester, Isabel Ivy, Abby Liebhaber, and Anna Lloyd for representing us well and competing in a variety of events.
A special shoutout to Dar Burger, who earned 1st Place in Coding & Programming, and Logan Cernosek, who took 1st Place in Computer Game & Simulation Programming!
We’re proud to announce that Dar and Logan will advance to the 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in Anaheim, California!
We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Debbie Hall on being recognized for her 20 years of dedicated service to FBLA. Thank you for your incredible leadership and commitment to our students!

Sr High Track Meet canceled due to weather

NEW THIS YEAR! We will be distributing CTE Completer Cords, Leadership Awards, and BRTC Career and Technical Center certificates. Again, all parents and community members are invited to attend.
Due to growing concerns over weather, tomorrow's LINK Project Prevent field trip is being postponed. They are working to reschedule for a different date in the near future.
Tuesday will be a two game night for the baseball and softball teams as they take on Blytheville at home. Softball starting at 4:00 and baseball at 4:30.
Congratulations to Clayton Murray for qualifying for All-State! Clayton competed against students all over the state in percussion and qualified for the All-State Concert Band. He will be travelling to Maumelle today where he will be with other All-State qualifiers and they will perform a concert tomorrow!
Yesterday approximately 90 of our PHS students volunteered to help with cleaning up from the storms that moved through last Friday night. A special thank you to Chad Overman for helping coordinate this effort and providing lunch for the students. 5 houses were cleaned up and we could not be more proud of our students for stepping up to help!
Congratulations to our Senior High Quiz Bowl team, they placed 2nd in the 4A Regional Tournament this past weekend! Our own Aiden Camp was named tournament MVP! They compete in the State Tournament on April 12!
