The boys and girls basketball games that were to be played against Westside at Pocahontas tonight (1/13) and tomorrow night (1/14) have been cancelled.
The boys game has been rescheduled for January 26th. The girls game will be announced at a later date.
Sr Girls Basketball will play today @ Valley View at 4:00. This is a rescheduled game from a previous date.
Pocahontas Public Schools will NOT be in session today, Thursday January 6th, due to the incoming winter weather. We will be having an AMI day. High school students are expected to check in via Google classroom each hour and teachers will have assignments posted and be available should you have any questions.
The Duck Bus will be double routed this afternoon. This could cause a 15-20 minute delay.
It is possible PHS students may be released late for the remainder of this week due to Elementary bus delays . We will know more each afternoon when it is time for the buses to run.

Due to a supply chain issue the Homecoming shirts will not arrive until later this afternoon. Students will be able to pick up their Homecoming shirts from Mr. Phelps room after the bonfire tonight or when they arrive at school in the morning.

Friday night October 8th, the Pocahontas School District will host Cave City for Homecoming. Coronation of the Maids will start at 6:30 p.m. with the football game following at 7:00 p.m..
