A huge congratulations to the PHS Odyssey of the Mind team for taking first place at state competition! They will now advance to World Finals in Lansing, Michigan in May.

Congratulations to the PHS Quiz Bowl team! Third place at AGQBA 4A regional and headed to state! Also congrats to all-tournament player Aiden Camp!
The high school chapter of National Honor Society will be hosting their annual induction ceremony on Tuesday, March 7th at 9:15 a.m. in the high school cafeteria. Families of members are cordially invited to attend. All members should dress nicely for the ceremony because we will be taking group photos for the yearbook!
Abigail and Olivia Fears went to page with the Arkansas Academy for Public Service group at the capitol in Little Rock. They were given a tour of the capitol , got their picture taken with the Governor, had lunch, and then proceeded to the House of Representative chamber to page. There were ten pages total and each page took turns serving a Representative. They passed notes from reps and delivered them to the speaker or another rep. Trey Steimel is our local representative, they also got a picture with him. The girls loved the experience and would recommend it for everyone.
Pocahontas High School will be Closed Monday, February 20th.
Happy Valentines Day! Deliveries can be dropped off from 9-12 at the PHS Library. NO BALLOONS.
Tonight's Sr Girls and Sr Boys basketball games at Westside will begin at 6:00 pm. Sr Girls will play first, followed by Sr Boys.

When purchasing the t-shirt, please be sure to select your school on the main page and then Group Orders on the shipping method page to ensure that your t-shirt is delivered to your school. T-Shirts will be distributed to school officials next week during the tournament and then distributed to the customer.
