It was a long night, but a good night, last night at #PokeyJH. My staff and I got to meet so many new and current students and parents. Families who have lived in Pocahontas their entire lives, transplants from Dallas, Texas to Rockford, Illinois, and various cities/states across the country. All coming together at our school to make it the best in the state. #blessed

Due to enrollment numbers at PJHS, we have had to change some of the 7th grade schedules. Please make sure that your student picks up a new schedule at Open House tonight from 6 -8 p.m. or view the schedules on Home Access Center. Schedules also will be available during the week and on first day of school. Sorry for any inconvenience.

PJHS Orientation Day Friday, August 4, 2017. 9th Grade 9:00 a.m. 8th Grade 11:00 a.m. and 7th Grade 1:30 p.m. Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct student orientation sessions for students in grades 7-9. At these sessions, students will be given class schedules, supply lists, and purchase lockers. Only students and /or parents/guardians will be allowed to purchase lockers and pick up class schedules. Students and/or parents/guardians will not be allowed to pick up another student's schedule or purchase their locker for them.
