Our character trait for the month of May was Initiative. Today we had an assembly honoring those students nominated by their teachers as well as teachers nominated by their peers. Congratulations to all that were nominated.

Pocahontas Elementary is happy to announce Kindergarten Graduation starting tomorrow Tuesday, May 20th. Please have graduates in their classroom 20 minutes prior to performance. Timing for the event will be at 5:30 pm - Evans, Brooks, Muller, Futrell and 6:30 pm - Sparks, Hubler, Dunnivant, Bounds
Just a friendly reminder to please pay your child’s lunch account before Thursday, May 22nd. You can do so by sending a payment in a sealed envelope with their name and the teachers name on it or you can come by the front office.
PES Art show will be held in the cafeteria from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. tomorrow! Please come and enjoy the fun!

PES would like to congratulate our 3rd graders on their outstanding performance and persistence on the ATLAS testing last week. These students were the fortunate winners selected from the prize drawing on Friday!
