ATTENTION PARENTS. Donuts with Grown Ups will start @ 9 AM and will be held in your child's classroom. Kindergarten and First grade halls can be accessed on the west side of the building. Visitors are allowed to park in the bus area. Second and Third grade can be accessed on the east side of the building. Preschool visitors will enter at the Preschool building.

Donuts With Grown Ups will be Friday September 8th @ 9:00 for all of elementary. Notes were sent home today in your students backpack with a permission slip on the back of the flyer. Please have it completed and turned in to your child's teacher no later than Friday the 5th.
Excessive heat warning. Several parents have asked about students being outside during these high-temperature days. Outside recess has been reduced to 15 minutes this entire week. Students are finishing the remaining recess time inside.
REMINDER: Kindergarten and Preschools first full day of school is Tuesday, August 22nd.
Drop-In Orientation for Kindergarten is Monday, August 21st at 3:30-6:30pm. Placements will be posted on our front lobby doors by noon on Monday. Admits into the building will not be allowed until 3:30. You may enter through the front lobby or the end of Kindergarten hallway.

Stuff the Bus will be accepting school supplies and monetary donations in order to help assist students for the upcoming school year! Drop off location will be at your local Wal-Mart!

Pocahontas Elementary would like to wish our very own Kathy McCloud a wonderful time off! We hate to see her go, but she has earned the honor of a proud retirement.
PES Art show was a success this past weekend! Big thanks to all of our supporters, we had around 417 people that attended!
Just a friendly reminder to please pay your childs lunch account before Thursday, May 25th. You can do so by sending a payment in a sealed envelope with their name and the teachers name on it or you can come by the front office.
PES would like to invite you to the graduation ceremony for our Kindergarteners on Monday, May 22nd! The ceremony will take place in the gymnasium.

PES would like to invite you to our Preschool Musical Graduation on Wednesday, May 17th. The following performance is for the preschoolers that are transitioning to Kindergarten for the next school year. Please have them in their classrooms by 5:15.
