Due to the impending weather forecast, the Pre-K trip to the park that was scheduled for tomorrow (5/09) has been rescheduled for Monday, May 13th (weather permitting).
Reminder that tomorrow (5/04) is the Alma Spikes Elementary Art Show!! The Exhibit will be on display from 8am to 2:30pm in the Alma Cafeteria. Everyone is invited to attend.
Due to the rain, we will be having the bouncy stations in the gym tomorrow. Normally, this would be the best time to attend and enjoy the fun with your kids. However, I want to make sure everyone knows that we will be in the gym and it will be hot, damp, and will have strong odors of bouncing and playing. If you would like to attend, the times are as follows:

Mega Party Fun Day is HERE!!!!
Tomorrow is our bouncy day. Everyone is invited to come in and enjoy the day on campus. There is a schedule for each grade and when they will be assigned to the bouncy stations. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Only students with permission slips turned in by tomorrow morning will be allowed to use the bouncy stations. Remember to turn in those slips!!
Fundraiser Kick Off
Alma Spikes sent home our last fundraiser for the year. Each child has a brochure and order form to be returned to the building by May 7th. Items ordered are being supplied by our local American Made Store and will be ready for distribution by May 15th. Proceeds of the fundraiser will help cover transportation cost for the field trips taken by our students. Thank you for your support.
The Trike-A-Thon for Pre-K that was scheduled for tomorrow (4/26) has been cancelled.
Just a reminder that today (4/25) will be the LAST day of tutoring @ Alma Spikes.

Our last PTO meeting was great!!!. Second grade teachers gave parents a book experience that everyone enjoyed. We had Book Walks and Starbooks for all. We also recognized our volunteers for their assistance to Alma Spikes during the year. Thanks to everyone for all the help serving our kids.
Reminder of the PTO meeting tonight @ 5:30 pm in the Alma Spikes cafeteria. We will be serving pizza and cake as well as honoring our teacher's volunteers. Door prizes will be awarded!!
