Attention Home School & Private School parents in Pocahontas School District
Please be advised that the Special Education Department will hold a consultation meeting with parents and private school officials regarding students who meet the following criteria:
live within district boundaries
has or had an IEP in a public school setting
has or had a service plan as a private school or homeschool student and
are currently homeschooling and/or attending a private school
The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30th @ 1:30pm-2:30pm and 4:00pm-5:00pm in PJHS room 201.

Running Late Today.....The Flower Bus, Duck Bus, and the Camel Buses will be double routed this afternoon. Please anticipate a 30 minute to an hour delay for these buses to drop off.
This Friday (November 10th) is the last day to order before Thanksgiving!
Pocahontas School District will be selling old athletic jerseys (all sports) for $5 each Thursday, November 9th . They will be set up in the PHS Student Center starting at 4:00 for anyone interested. Items cannot be held and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tuesday, October 31st - The Duck Bus will be double routed and will run about 30 minutes late this afternoon.

Friday, October 27th - The Duck bus will be double routed and will run late this afternoon.

rain on Saturday, but we hope to see everyone in April! We will

Wednesday, October 25th - Due to lack of drivers, the Pine Tree will be double routed this afternoon and will run late.
Thursday, October 19th - The Flower and Duck bus will be double routed again this afternoon and will run about an hour late. Please call your building office with any transportation changes prior to buses running.
Wednesday, October 18th - Due to transportation issues, the Flower and Duck buses will be double routed after school and will be running an hour late this afternoon.
Thursday, October 5th - Again due to lack of bus drivers, the Chief, Duck and Canoe will be doubled routed this afternoon. These routes will be 45 minutes to an hour late.
Wednesday, 10/4 - The Chief bus and Duck bus will both be double routed again this afternoon and will run about 45 minutes late.
