Last week of school!!! Just a reminder that all students need to have the things listed below done by Thursday, May 25th.


Pocahontas School District will offer summer school to students who are in need of recovering credit for Math or English. Summer School allows students to recover one half of a credit (one semester). Summer school will be 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Forms can be picked up in the office.


Tonight is the night to celebrate all the Redskin athletes.

Time Change for the Athletics Banquet


Over the weekend some PHS students competed at the Arkansas Pie Festival in Cherokee Village. Not only did they win, but they SWEPT the competition!!!!
•In the youth division they placed 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd!!!!!!
••Our Mixed Berry Pie got the “Pie in the Sky” Award! (Judge’s Choice)
•••PLUS THE MIXED BERRY PIE RECEIVED RUNNER-UP in the ENTIRE Festival!!!(over 1,700 people in attendance)

Caps and gowns were delivered today by Jostens. If you did not pick yours up, it is in Mrs. Stewart's office.


If you have students planning to take the following AP classes in the Fall, please make sure they have completed a Concurrent Credit Application if they want to receive college credit. We have SEVERAL students who have requested these classes in HAC, but have not completed paperwork. They may pick an application from Mrs. Stewart or Mrs. Swann's office.
AP Concurrent Classes for Fall are:
AP Lang with Mrs. Baltz
AP Lit with Mrs. Baltz
AP US History with Mr. Kazzee
Students cannot get credit for AP World, Algebra III, Pre-Cal, or AP Cal until Spring semester. Those forms will be available in November.
Applications are also available for the Career and Technical Program in the fall and BRTC summer classes. Please have all paperwork turned in by this Friday, April 28th!
