UPDATE: The games tonight against Highland will start at 6:00 with the Senior girls playing first. After the game we will have Senior Night recognition for swim, cheer and basketball. The Senior boys will play afterwards!

The boys and girls basketball games that were to be played against Westside at Pocahontas tonight (1/13) and tomorrow night (1/14) have been cancelled.
The boys game has been rescheduled for January 26th. The girls game will be announced at a later date.
Sr Girls Basketball will play today @ Valley View at 4:00. This is a rescheduled game from a previous date.
Pocahontas Public Schools will NOT be in session today, Thursday January 6th, due to the incoming winter weather. We will be having an AMI day. High school students are expected to check in via Google classroom each hour and teachers will have assignments posted and be available should you have any questions.
The Duck Bus will be double routed this afternoon. This could cause a 15-20 minute delay.

Congratulations to the PHS Sr Football team for winning the Co-Conference Championship this year. They will play Fountain Lake this Friday in the first round of the state playoffs. Also pictured are the PHS Cheerleaders and the PHS Band. Congratulations to them on a great year.

Students and Parents, please remember Pocahontas High School will hold parent teacher conferences this evening, Thursday, October 21st. The fall conferences will be held on campus face to face. We would like to invite all parents to come meet the PHS faculty and staff. For safety reasons we will ask that all parents and students wear a mask while in the building and social distance. We will have scheduled times for each grade to attend. If you are unable to attend during your students scheduled time and would like to meet with your student’s teachers, please set up a scheduled time with the teachers via email, phone or virtually at a later date.
