The Pocahontas Band will present a Christmas Concert on Friday, 11/13/19 in the Pocahontas Junior High Gym at 6 pm.
Junior and Senior High Choir will present a concert tonight at 6 pm in the Pocahontas Junior High Gym.

There will be a Project Graduation meeting for Seniors at 12:00 pm during lunch on Monday, 12/16/19. The meeting will take place in the Study Hall area by the gym.

If a student drives to the TOPPS program or to BRTC for concurrent credit and leave the high school around lunch. These two programs must have a permission slip signed to be able to drive their own car to the Chase McDonough Make-A-Wish event Friday.
Today from 1:30-6 the group Hidden In Plain Sight will be set up in the junior high teachers lounge. This is a replica of a teenagers bedroom and they show parents where teenagers commonly hide vapes and other forms of contraband.
All of the high school will be attending Chase McDonnough's tennis court dedication on Friday, 11/8/19 leaving around 10:30 am and returning around 12:00 p.m. If you do not want your child to attend please contact us at the high school.
Lifetouch Picture retakes have been rescheduled from October 24th to Thursday, November 7th. These retakes are for 10th & 11th grade students and faculty/staff. The rescheduled date allows time for the original pictures to come in.

Seniors, FAFSA Night is Tuesday, October 29th @ 6:30 pm in the PHS Library. Open to both seniors and parents. Representatives will be in attendance to help with the completion of the FAFSA and answer any questions you might have. Please bring a copy of your 2018 taxes.
Seniors who signed up will be visiting Williams Baptist on Wednesday, 10/23/19.
Just a reminder that PHS students who need immunizations that a bus will going to the health dept the morning of Thursday, 10/24/19. All students going must have their paperwork returned by Wednesday. If a up to date shot record or exemption is not received by Friday, 10/25/19 that student will be sent home until the information updated or an exemption has been received. All classwork will still be allowed to be completed.
Pocahontas School District will not be in session on Friday, 10/18/19.
Picture retakes at the High School will be done on October 24th.
