The PHS FBLA group went to the Fall Conference last Thursday. They listened to guest speaker, Walt Coleman, NFL Referee and learned about how to handle negatives in your life and how to stay positive. Our officers were also inducted in their offices. The kids had a great time!

FACS have been talking about stress. They talked about the symptoms that go along with stress and talked about coping methods for stress.
The students did a stress test to self evaluate their own stress level. The students learned some breathing techniques and practiced those in class. We did some relaxing yoga, to learn an exercising technique that could help us relax. In class the students made stress balls out of a "fake snow mixture" and the students were able to take a stress ball home with them.

Mr. John Chester, retired MDW principal, was discussing “Preparation” with AE students. They were going through how to set up budgets. Income, gross pay and taxes withheld was quite an eye-opener to them.
