Students in Mrs. Bigger-Lingo's were to design and create a miniature room using fashion and interior design principles. They applied color theory, design aesthetics, spatial planning, and material selection to craft a 3D representation of a room. This project combines interior design and fashion elements, allowing students to explore their creativity and learn about the importance of space, style, and functionality in design.

Parents and Guardians: Our Board President, Chad Overman, is helping us coordinate and oversee an opportunity for students to earn community service hours helping clean up from the storm damage south of town. This will be tomorrow morning from approximately 8:30-12:30. Students will need to provide a signed permission slip in the morning and come prepared to work with various debris (i.e bring gloves, jackets, boots/tennis shoes, etc). Your student should be bringing home a form today if they wanted to help. We will bus them over in the morning and pick them up when complete, students will not be allowed to drive. Thank you for supporting this community service effort!

Mrs. Audumn Vickrey and her AP Environmental Science class , were recently awarded a grant for over $5,000 through the Arkansas Game and Fish Wildlife Education Grant Program. This funding, provided by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the Arkansas Rural Development Commission, and the Department of Commerce Division of Rural Services, will be used to enhance hands-on learning experiences for students. With new microscopes, sensors, and water testing kits, students will have the opportunity to conduct in-depth water observation studies, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental science and conservation. We are excited to see the impact this grant will have on future learning!
