Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade spelling bee champions! These students will represent Pocahontas Junior High School in the Randolph County Spelling Bee on February 15 at M.D. Williams Intermediate School where they will compete against students from across the county. 7th grade winners: Garrison Green, Tristen Rodgers, and Clara Murphy 8th grade winners: Alex Camp, Noah Callaway, and Kiya Hare

Choir Concert Announcement
It's Novem-BRRR and getting cold outside. Join us in our annual Share the Warmth drive. We are collecting new socks, hats, and gloves for students who may need a little extra help staying warm on these cold days. Donations may be dropped off at PJHS from now through Dec. 15.
PJHS will be allowing students to dress up for Halloween tomorrow October 31, 2023. NO masks, NO inflatables, NO face or body paint, NO hats unless it goes WITH your costume, and it will need to be school appropriate.
If your child is planning to join volley ball for the off season they will need a physical.
Those who want to try out for volleyball next year will need to change their schedule to get into off season volleyball!
Deadline is October 30.
Just a reminder that PJHS does have parent teacher conferences today October 17th 2023. They will start at 3:30 P.M. and end at 7:30 P.M.. Some teacher did send home papers with time slots, and other teachers will just be doing pop ins. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Jr. High will be attending a pep rally at approximately 2:00P.M.. If you plan on checking your child out please do so BEFORE 2:00P.M.. If you do not it will be difficult to get your child because they will be in the bleachers at the football field. Thank you for your cooperation.
Today the Chief and the Duck will be doubled again. Also the Canoe will be doubled and about an hour late.
If you plan on bringing or having mums delivered for you child for homecoming, we will only be allowing this Friday from 8:00A.M.-10:00A.M.. Mums that are delivered will be passed out to the students by lunch on Friday. This is for PJHS.
