Spring Sports Uniform Return. Jr/Sr boys and girls track, Softball, and Baseball. Drop them off on May 7th from 12pm-2pm at the PHS parking lot.
Parents & Students - AMI Packets for the week of April 27 are now online at http://www.pocahontaspsd.com/o/pjhs/browse/123717 and in the buildings. Just a heads up, packets are picked up every Thursday and placed into teacher boxes. Grades normally run a week behind.
7th & 8th Grade Parents - Elective grades from 4th Qtr will average in with 3rd Qtr grades if it was a semester/year course. Grades will be updated ASAP.
7th & 8th Grade Parents - The only courses that are graded through AMI packets are Language Arts, Math, Science, & Social Studies. All elective courses will automatically reflect a 100% for 4th Qtr.
Parents - There is apparently a rumor going around that students of a certain GPA do not have to do the AMI work. This is 100% false. If work is not completed, student grades will go down.

Parents & Guardians: if you child owes meal charges in the cafeteria, an email has been sent to their school email with the amount to be paid along with instructions on the best methods to get it to the junior high. You may also login to EZschoolpay.com to pay them online.
Students please be sure to put your first and last name on every page of the AMI packets that are returned. This will ensure that we have the correct student and that if a page gets detached that we know which student it belongs to.

Parents & Students: A reminder that AMI Lessons 5-9 are available on the PJHS Website at https://www.pocahontaspsd.com/o/pjhs/browse/18825. If you do not have a way to print them at home, the Randolph County Library will print them free-of-charge.
PJHS core teachers (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) have also created content-specific lessons on Google Classroom. These assignments are to help students stay prepared for next year’s classes.
