The Pocahontas School District would like to thank Harp's Grocery for their donation of $2500 dollars to the Food Backpack Program. Special thanks goes to Shane Ward, Store Manager, for his assistance in obtaining the donation for Pocahontas Schools.

Thank you for so much!!! The American Legion, Post 6 Family donated over $1100 to the Alma Spikes Food 4 Kids Backpack Program. Cathy Winspear from the American Legion presented the donation to Donna Simonton, Alma Spikes Parent Center coordinator.

Alma Spikes would like to thank the PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) for making a donation of items AND funds to the Alma Spikes backpack program.

Movie day is December 11th. All of Alma will be going and I need to clarify that we have not made any arrangements for seats other than the number of students and staff members that we will be taking. I believe the theater could have other schools coming on the same day. We are not able to make arrangements for more seating beyond the number we will be taking. Thank you for your understanding.

Reminder: All of Alma will be traveling to the movies on Tuesday, December 11th for a private showing of "The Grinch". Be sure that your child's permission slip and payment are turned in ASAP. Cost is $6.00 per child.

Alma Spikes Picture Retakes are tomorrow, Nov. 29th.
Fall picture retakes @ Alma Spikes will be tomorrow (11/29). If you are planning on having your child's picture retaken, order forms can be picked up in the front office or you can let us know to send one home with your child today.
Alma Spikes AMI Day Packets for Day 1 are due back ASAP. Because of some confusing on the due date and the holiday break, the deadline has been extended to Friday, Nov. 30th. Any child not returning the packet will be considered absent for that day.
