To our eight principals and assistant principals — thank you for the countless hours you pour into supporting students, empowering teachers, and building a culture where everyone can thrive. Your leadership makes all the difference!
Help us show them some love in the comments below! 👏

🕓 4:30 PM — During the Home Volleyball Game (PJHS)
🕓 6:00 PM — Pocahontas Community Center
Come learn, ask questions, and support our students! ❤️

They’ve been reaching their learning goals and earning fun prizes along the way. Keep up the great work! ❤️🖤

We’ll be hosting two opportunities for you to learn more about the proposed projects and ask questions:
4:30 PM — During the Home Volleyball Game at the Pocahontas Junior High Gym
6:00 PM — Pocahontas Community Center
Your voice matters! Come learn how this millage would support our students, staff, and community for years to come. ❤️🖤

Because when students feel safe, they can focus on what matters most—learning. ❤️🖤

These plans help students set goals, explore career interests, and take steps toward a bright future. ❤️🖤

This week, our Pocahontas Junior High teacher teams came together for Collaborative Team Meetings focused on teamwork, planning, and student success.
These meetings give educators the opportunity to share ideas, problem-solve, and create strategies that help every student reach their full potential. 🌟
We’re thankful for the commitment of our staff across the district—collaboration truly drives growth and success! ❤️🖤

We hope to see even more students taking advantage of this opportunity to start their school day with a healthy meal — fueling their focus, energy, and success in the classroom.
A great day of learning starts with a great breakfast — and now it’s at no cost to families. ❤️🖤🤍

At the PJHS building from 7:20AM ~ 7:55AM
on Friday (10-03-25)

Right now, our current high school building has three sets of stairs and is not ADA accessible. For students with disabilities, this creates barriers that make learning and daily routines much more difficult.
With the 2025 Millage Campaign, a new high school would provide modern, ADA-compliant facilities—ensuring every student has equal access to classrooms, resources, and opportunities.
Accessibility isn’t just a convenience; it’s a necessity. Together, we can create a school where all students can learn, grow, and succeed. ❤️🖤
Students used marshmallows and toothpicks to build molecule models, making chemistry both hands-on and fun. 🍡✨

A big thank you to Steven Hull and JT Pratt, who work hard every day to keep Pocahontas Junior High School shining. Your commitment and care do not go unnoticed—we are grateful for all you do for our students and staff! ❤️🖤
Administrator, Craig Green, took time out of his day to encourage and play catch with a young student learning to throw a football. 🏈
It’s these simple acts of connection that remind us what education is all about—building relationships and supporting kids every step of the way. ❤️🖤

We’ll have an informational table set up at the October 3rd home football game at Schoonover Stadium to answer questions about the 2025 Millage Campaign.
Stop by to learn more about the proposal and what it means for our students and community. ❤️🖤

Love seeing their creativity and hard work shine! ❤️🖤
