PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES FOR GRADES K-6
Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct parent/teacher conferences for students, in grades K-6 only, on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Parents are encouraged to meet with their child’s teacher(s) between the hours of 3:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m.
Because of the conferences, school will be dismissed early for all students on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Alma Spikes Elementary walkers will be dismissed at 1:55 p.m. and bus students at 2:10 p.m. All other students in grades 3-12 will be dismissed at 2:25 p.m. Lunches will be served.
Classes will resume on the regular schedule Friday, March 17, 2017.

We are so thankful today for the employees of Randolph Home! Employees collect money for the Pocahontas Schools Backpack Program via payroll deduction. Paula Swift, administrator presents a $975 check on their behalf to program representatives Kay Foley Ellis and Suzanne Chester.
We also want to congratulate Eli Kerley who is our second place Box Top collection winner. He collected 210 Box Tops. He is also in Ms. Rogers Kindergarten class!Inline image 1

Congratulations to Jaxson McDonald for being Alma's Box Top Hero! He turned in 235 Box Tops! Jaxson is in Ms. Rogers' Kindergarten class.
